Paul Parker first came across Origin in 2010, when he began his journey to find premium quality aluminium bi-folding doors that would bring additional light and space to his home. Paul wanted a strong, secure door that would open his living room out onto the patio and garden. After discovering Origin, Paul decided to visit the showroom and manufacturing centre in High Wycombe and was impressed with the clean, modern manufacturing processes and even more impressed with the quality of the doors displayed in the showroom.

Paul went on to order two sets of Origin Bi-Fold Doors and 1 Origin French Door. The installation was carried out by one of Origin’s accredited trade partners and ran smoothly from start to finish. Origin hosts installation training days for their trade partners to attend, ensuring homeowners get the installation they deserve.

After enjoying living with his doors for two years, Paul decided it was time to update his windows. His previous windows were white timber and required ongoing painting and treatment; Paul wanted to replace them with windows that looked great, performed even better and didn’t require lots of ongoing maintenance. Thankfully, Paul could take advantage of our recently introduced flush casement aluminium window. The new Origin Window adheres to the same strict quality standards as the bi-folding door and also comes with the 20 year guarantee. The window is also perfectly designed to match the aesthetic appeal of the doors whilst boasting impressive thermal properties.

Out of the 150 different RAL colours available, RAL 9910G Hipca White was chosen to match the already installed bi-fold doors. Since our windows can be made to suit all sizes including bay windows, Paul was able to fit the three bay window in his house with the new style.

The slim sightlines of the two bays at the back of the house create a fantastic view of the garden and act as a focal point.

In total, 35 frames were installed which rejuvenated the look of the whole house. Paul and his wife were both tremendously pleased with the outcome and believe it has given a new lease of life to the house they have been living in for over 20 years.
